Prinicpal's Message
Welcome to Gage Middle School, home of the Spartans. It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as your new Principal. I am eager to work with you and your child/ children towards their academic success. Having worked at Gage Middle School in the past as a teaching assistant and teacher, I am very familiar with the quality of teachers at this school. I know they are both dedicated and hardworking. With all of us working together I am sure we can build Gage into the best middle school in Local District 6. I want your child to grow both academically and socially and become a responsible and productive citizen.
Our goal at Gage Middle School is to provide students with a safe, clean and orderly school in which they can flourish socially and academically. In order to do that, we provide many academic and extracurricular programs from which students can benefit. Some of these programs include: After-school tutoring, Saturday classes, electives such as dance, art, music, theater, AVID and many, many more.
My goal for the 2008-09 school year is to increase our Academic Performance Index, API, by fifty points. I look forward to working with all stakeholders to ensure the success of our students.
